You capture in Turkish Draughts by jumping a man straight over an adjacent enemy piece to the empty square directly beyond it. The jump must be forward or sideways for a man — never backward or diagonal — and the landing square must be empty. Captured pieces are removed from the board. Capturing is mandatory: if you can take, you must, and when several captures are possible you must choose the one that takes the most pieces. A single move can also chain into several jumps in a row. Kings capture the same way but from any distance along a straight line.
