Çanak Okey is a pot-based version of Okey played with the same tiles and rules as straight Okey. It uses the standard 106-tile set, four players and the usual okey mechanics, but adds an economic twist: each hand players pay an ante that feeds a growing pot known as the "çanak." The player who finishes the hand wins that pot, so the stakes carry over and build round to round. Everything is scored in virtual chips with no real-money value, so it is not gambling and nothing can be cashed out.
